There’s something to be said for being the underdog - you surprise everyone by virtue of surviving.
The Bovada Stanley Cup odds are out, and the Blues are decidedly not the favorites. In fact, at 33/1, they have the worst odds out of the 16 teams participating. At 4/1, the Chicago Blackhawks (of course) have the best odds.

Why are the Blues ranked lower than every other playoff team? As one of the hottest teams down the stretch, one would think that momentum would give them a bit of a boost when it comes to the betting odds.
Then again, it’s the Stanley Cup playoffs, so all bets are off. If you want to turn some cash, though, bet on a Leafs/Blues final. It’s 133/1 odds, which is pretty appropriate considering that one of those two teams would have to be ending a 50 year old curse.
