Blues vs. Wild game two potential lines

Will things remain status quo after game one?

Obviously the Blues could’ve played better during game one. Shot after shot was fired at Jake Allen with little help from the rest of the team, leading to a game one overtime victory that just as easily could’ve been a game one regulation loss.

Mike Yeo is making some adjustments for tonight to spark the offense. Robert Bortuzzo, who missed several games at the close of last season due to an upper body injury, returns to the lineup. This brings veteran defensive stability - Jordan Schmaltz was used for only a few seconds on Wednesday evening during the overtime period.

Zach Stanford is also in tonight, but it’s unclear what forward he’s replacing. Perhaps he can be a solid replacement for the blazing speed of Jori Lehtera.

Here’re tonight’s lines with Sanford not placed:

Forwards

Jaden Schwartz - Ivan Barbashev - Vladimir Tarasenko

Magnus Paajarvi - Patrik Berglund - David Perron

Vladimir Sobotka - Jori Lehtera - Alexander Steen

Scottie Upshall - Kyle Brodziak - Ryan Reaves

ADD: Zach Sanford

Defense

Jay Bouwmeester - Alex Pietrangelo

Joel Edmundson - Colton Parayko

Carl Gunnarsson - Robert Bortuzzo

Goalie

Jake Allen
