Predators at Blues gameday thread: Play ball

The Blues have only two more home games after this afternoon’s matchup against Nashville.

While St. Louis is busy preparing for its version of a national holiday, and Cardinals fans are either excited or trepidatious about the extension of Yadier Molina, the Blues are looking to secure third place in the Central Division for a matchup against the slipping Minnesota Wild.

The Blues hold the tiebreaker and have a game in hand over the Preds, who they haven’t played since December 30th. A point tonight gives Nashville the West’s last playoff spot, but the Blues don’t need to let it get that far. The Predators haven’t played the new, Mike Yeo era Blues yet; the 1-3 record that St. Louis has against Nashville doesn’t mean a thing. All that means something is two points.
