After playing a solid ten minutes, the Blues decided to take the next fifty minutes of regulation and 11 or so minutes of overtime off.
It could be argued that they didn’t deserve to win that game after blowing a 3-1 lead.
But narratives don’t matter; what matters is who scores that final goal, and it was... Magnus Paajarvi? From Vladimir Sobotka? Ok. I’ll take it.

The Blues are now going home, ready to face off against the Nashville Predators in round two. This is the first playoff meeting for these two teams, and as you may remember, the Predators just swept the Blackhawks out of the playoffs. As much as we were rooting for the Predators a few nights ago, now it’s time to move on to sizing them up as some seriously tough playoff competition.
Anyone up for an #EpicApril road trip to Nashville?
