For the first time since 2002, the Blues have reached the second round of the postseason for a second consecutive year. As their reward, they get to host the first two games at Scottrade Center against a Nashville Predators squad that just swept grand arch-nemesis, the Chicago Blackhawks.
It will not be an easy series for the Blues, and it will be the first-ever playoff series between the two teams, but at least the first two games are on home ice and the Blues DO have home-ice advantage for the balance of the series, if it goes seven.
And of course, as always, the events schedules of both buildings played havoc with the on-ice schedule. Always an issue this time of year, but we’re used to it by now. Right, person who has Hall And Oates tickets for Saturday, May 6th at Scottrade? (Just nod your head, buddy. It’s cool.)
Anyway, here’s how the schedule for this series shakes out (all times Central Daylight Time):
- Wednesday, April 26th - Nashville @ St. Louis - 7:00 PM - NBCSN
- Friday, April 28th - Nashville @ St. Louis - 7:00 PM - NBCSN
- Sunday, April 30th - St. Louis @ Nashville - 2:00 PM - NBC
- Tuesday, May 2nd - St. Louis @ Nashville - 8:30 PM - NBCSN
- Friday, May 5th - Nashville @ St. Louis - TBD - TBD
- Sunday, May 7th - St. Louis @ Nashville - TBD - TBD
- Tuesday, May 9th - Nashville @ St. Louis - TBD - TBD
