Ok, so about 35 minutes of Wednesday’s game was some quality hockey. Let’s aim for sixty minutes straight.
When the Blues pushed, they outplayed the Predators. They made Pekka Rinne human.
When they didn’t keep their foot on the gas, they sputtered and stood still, making avoidable mistakes and taking unnecessary penalties.
Wednesday evening was an opportunity for a lesson to be learned. Let’s hope that they caught on, because the last place that the Blues need to be is in Music City Sunday afternoon down 2-0 and in front of a loud Nashville crowd. It’s much better to be tied up 1-1 in front of a Scottrade Center that positively vibrates with enthusiasm.
This is your gameday thread. Comment like you’d like to see a Tarasen-goal tonight.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
