There’s been some flooding in St. Louis recently courtesy of terrible weather and the Meramec River. It’s been bad. It’s been way worse than most people not in the metro St. Louis area understand.
Without getting political, it’s almost a given that whenever flooding hits the Midwest, the rest of the country shrugs and goes “eh, flyover country” while munching on a loaf of bread or something involving soy or corn or one of the many other crops grown in the nation’s breadbasket.
Not Nashville, and not the Blues’ second round opponent, the Nashville Predators. The Blues alumni and organization are fundraising through auctions and puck sales during the game, while the Predators Foundation is donating auction sales and proceeds from the Smash Car to flood relief.
Sure, the Preds could eliminate the Blues tonight, but it’s tough to not respect this organization.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want at least two more of these.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
