Adidas releases Blues, NHL jersey teasers

Adidas is hopping on the 2017-2018 season bandwagon before the ice has even been melted at Bridgestone Arena. Their new jersey full reveal is June 21st during the NHL Awards. Thirteen teams are getting fully redesigned jerseys, and Adidas began leaking teasers for them today on Twitter under the hashtag #FormTheFuture.

There’s been some speculation regarding the Blues home jersey - each team only will be sporting a home and away sweater this year, eliminating third jerseys from the team’s rotation. Would they be going with a version of the wildly popular Winter Classic jersey?

No. Sadly, that was a one-off that will probably have to wait a few years to make its triumphant return. Based on the teaser, it looks like the Blues are staying status quo, and as one of the best and most recognizable jerseys in the league, that’s a great idea.
