This isn’t good. Blues left winger Zach Sanford will be missing some time with a shoulder injury.
The #StlBlues announce that forward Zach Sanford will miss 5-6 months with a dislocated shoulder.

Sanford, who was acquired in the deal that sent Kevin Shattenkirk to the Washington Capitals, injured himself on the first day of training camp thanks to a Dmitrij Jaskin check into the boards.
It’s a very unfortunate injury for Sanford heading into his first full season with the Blues. Last season, the 22 year old got off to a promising start with the franchise, scoring two goals and three assists in five regular season games.
This does open a roster spot to further competition, which could be good news for a young guy looking to make his mark. Unfortunately for Sanford, it’s a step back in his development.
