If there's anything to be said about Carter Hutton, him not deserving more playing time certainly isn't that. Hutton has started seven of the Blues' last nine games and has been excellent in each. He hasn't lost a game since December 20th, against the Calgary Flames. He only allowed two goals in that loss, and has only allowed three goals in a game three times this season.
Jake Allen needs playing time to get his head on straight, but coach Mike Yeo has found himself in the unenviable position of risking two points just to give Allen that chance.
