The Blues sent Oskar Sundqvist down to the San Antonio Rampage today. The forward has played 30 games this season, netting no goals and adding only 3 assists. In 58 NHL games played, Sundqvist has one goal and six assists.
He’s been consistently passed on the depth chart by everyone, and since Patrik Berglund’s return, he’s been increasingly unnecessary in the bottom six.
This leaves the Blues one under the roster limit of 23, with Zach Sanford returning hopefully soon in February.
