Blues at Canadiens game day thread: Jaden Schwartz returns to the lineup

But will the Blues’ defense make an appearance?

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Montreal Canadiens Jean-Yves Ahern-USA TODAY Sports

The Montreal Candiens were not supposed to be good this season. The St. Louis Blues were supposed to contend for a playoff spot.

One team is 3-1-1 and the other is 1-2-2 so far this young season. I’ll let you figure out which is which.

The Blues play the Habs well, winning the last five games that they have played against Montreal and have points in 12 of their last 15 against them. The Blues’ defense has also struggled mightily this year, and other teams have made them pay. Jake Allen won’t have an easy night tonight.

Jaden Schwartz has been cleared for play, so he’ll be back tonight. Offense hasn’t exactly been an issue for the Blues past opening night, but it’ll be good to have him back.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’d like the real Alex Pietrangelo to please suit up.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
