Blues at Maple Leafs gameday thread: clock’s ticking

How much longer can the Blues’ lackluster start to the season go on.

As of right now, the Blues sit in 28th place in the NHL. They have won one game.

It’s not like it’s some insurmountable hill - they’ve played just a smidge of their 82 games and this ship can be righted once they figure out what’s going on. Once they figure out that nebulous concept known as “urgency,” everything should be fine. Or once they figure out how to play defense again. Or maybe if the new defensive pairings work.

Or maybe all it’ll take is some focus. Some things, like the power play and faceoffs, are going well enough to be proof that all is not lost. A win tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs with their offensive power would go even farther to calm fans down and focus the team.

This is your GameDay thread. Comment like there’s still some good stuff going on.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
