With just over a minute remaining in the second period tonight, Jake Allen made his biggest save of the game. Unfortunately, it was also his last save:
Zach Sanford collided with Allen’s head, clearly sending his head awkwardly snapping backwards. Allen was down on the ice for about a minute before getting up and being helped. Chad Johnson finished the period and the game, saving all five shots against.
Mike Yeo said there is no update on Jake Allen, and that an update would be available after he has been evaluated. #stlblues
