The Blues’ alumni and Budweiser team up for actual watchable hockey

Admit it: you’d rather watch the old guys right now.

The Blues right now are a living, breathing conundrum that are driving many of us to drink (again). Here’s an opportunity to embrace your new-found (or old found) love of beer and watch some fun hockey.

The Blues Alumni Association will be playing 3v3 shinny at the Bud Light ice rink at Brewery Lights. The Anheuser-Busch brewery has begun their annual light-explosion tradition, and have enlisted the help of some of the Blues who have aged out of the organization to celebrate the holiday season.

Games this season are on Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, with a free skate afterwards - all skate rental fees go towards the Alumni Association and their charitable causes. The games begin at 5:30, so if you’re in the area after work, then head on over, grab a beer and watch how professionals play.

The lights are free, you get a free 16oz beer, and you get to watch free hockey. That’s pretty hard to argue with.
