Friday’s game wasn’t exactly the most exciting victory in Blues history, but it showed a tenacity that fans haven’t seen in a while. They maintained a 1-0 lead. No overtime, no last second goal allowed (though it came mightily close), they blocked shots where they needed to, and the penalty kill was excellent.
Thankfully the PK was on it, because the Blue could’ve laid off of the calls - six powerplays being giftwrapped to the Jets is a bad idea. In response to this, David Perron’s been replaced by Jordan Kyrou. Hopefully the Blues PP will be on the ice more tonight, because the Canucks’ PK is abysmal.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you don’t exactly expect a win but you kind of do.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
