Game Highlights:
After getting shutout for two straight games, the Blues went Minnesota. They made a game of it for a little bit. Then as they have during the now 7 game losing streak the wheels fell off. But hey they scored three of their own am I right? (Jerking motion) But, the Wild scored EIGHT. This included a fake hat trick goal, and then an actual hat trick goal from Eric Staal. If you want to watch the highlight package from the game you can do so right down here.
I figured I put in as much effort into the recap tonight as the Blues put on the ice, which was well not much. The Blues were one for six on the powerplay, proving a blind squirrel does find a nut on occasion. (To be fair one of them was only about 6 seconds long) The Wild blocked 16 shots even though it seemed like they were blocking everything. The Blues only put 25 shots on Dubnyk who somehow stayed in the game after being knee’d in the head by his own player. I’m not sure how someone can put a positive spin on a game like this, but at least it ended at some point.
From The Twitter Machine:
So Mike Yeo sounds like he’s about as done with some of this team as we are.
I wouldn’t want to put that evil on him. The guys don’t play in front of Allen or Hutton, why would they play in front of a newb?
STL prospect Ville Husso (at AHL San Antonio) had a 1-0 shutout over a very good Tucson team on Saturday. The Rampage -- who had only 16 skaters -- were outshot 44-11. Husso also stopped a penalty shot. Wonder if Blues give him a look. He's third in the AHL in save percentage. https://t.co/ZL6kO2uxaL

It’s getting bad when parody accounts are giving up.
Tried to find the Buglemen to sound the retreat of the few forces who arrived at the battle tonight but they too, did not show up.

Well at least Magnus Paajarvi wasn’t there am I right?
We love beating the #StlBlues as much as we love beating the #Blackhawks #Minnesota #StateOfHockey https://t.co/4ZyOu3EAZL

Player of the Game:
Anyone that thinks this is still a playoff team. I want what you’re having. Seriously. Hit me up.
