The standings are unchanged from last night, but the Blues royally screwed the pooch by losing that game in hand. I understand it’s unrealistic to expect every game to be a victory, but that loss wasn’t what the team needed, be it 3-2 or 6-0.

It dinged the Blues’ odds over at PlayoffStatus.com - they’re down to 78%. Colorado’s odds are worse thanks to the remainder of their schedule
, but TBH with Washington and the Avs upcoming, the Blues absolutely must take advantage of the Blackhawks.

Tonight, the Blues have to root for the Ducks to take care of the Avalanche, who just lost Erik Johnson and Semyon Varlamov to injury. Tomorrow, Blues fans have to pull for the Kings against the Avs, and obviously a win versus the Capitals would be useful as well. A loss knocks the Blues odds down 18.4%. It’d be nice if this didn’t come down to the final game of the season.
