Prospect Goalie Fitzpatrick Named QMJHL Ultramar Player Of The Week

Drafted in the second round (59th overall) by the Blues in 2016, the 6' 3, 208-pound Fitzpatrick has stepped up his game after a mid-season trade from Sherbrooke to Acadie-Bathurst. In 25 games with Sherbrooke this season, the St. John's, Newfoundland native posted a 9-9-3-1 record with a 3.48 GAA and save percentage of 87.4; after being dealt to Acadie-Bathurst on Jan. 2, Fitzpatrick wrapped up the regular season with a 17-3-1-0 record, a 2.42 GAA, and a 91.5 save percentage in 21 games for le Titan.

He is currently the QMJHL playoff leader with a 1.79 GAA, third with a 93.0 save percentage, tied for first with 8 wins, and fourth in minutes played with 605:00.
