I'm going to break my cardinal rule about not mentioning Patrick Kane by reminding you all of this quote from the other night:

"It’d be nice to see them miss the playoffs. So it would be nice to have a hand in that."

If making Patrick Kane sad isn't enough motivation (aside from playoffs, obviously), then I don't know what is.
