Blues’ first preseason game lineup features new faces

It’s a shame that the game is only on the radio.

The lineup for tonight’s game in Dallas has been released, and it’s a mix of returning vets, new acquisitions, and rookie talent.

Forwards: Conner Bleackley, Brian Flynn, Dmitrij Jaskin, Jordan Kyrou, Mackenzie MacEachern, Pat Maroon, Jordan Nolan, Ryan O’Reilly, Zach Sanford, Trevor Smith, Nolan Stevens, Oskar Sundqvist, Robert Thomas

Defense: Chris Butler, Vince Dunn, Joey Laleggia, Colton Parayko, Jordan Schmaltz, Tyler Wotherspoon

Goalies: Chad Johnson, Jordan Binnington

Defensively there probably won’t be many surprises coming out of tonight - we’re all familiar with what most of those guys are capable of. As far as the forwards go, we’ll get a chance to see Jordan Kyrou on a line with Pat Maroon and Ryan O’Reilly, and Robert Thomas with Zach Sanford and Dmitrij Jaskin.

Ok, that last line sounds less interesting when I read it back to myself, but it’s still an opportunity to see Robert Thomas get some pre-season ice time.

It’s a shame that this game is radio-only. Puck drop is tonight at 7:30.
