Blues at Wild Preseason GameDay Thread

New, comment

It’s already time for preseason game two.

NHL: Stanley Cup Playoffs-St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues’ pre-season play sees them with an 0-1 record, which isn’t a bad thing. What wasn’t pleasant was Jordan Binnington getting lit up for three goals on eight shots.

Tonight it’s Ville Husso’s turn, at least to start. Hopefully tonight in Des Moines the squad that’s being iced can hop off to a lead and maintain it. Tonight’s game promises to be quite full - the Wells Fargo Arena seats 15,000 people and it would be shocking if Iowa Wild fans didn’t take advantage of the opportunity to see their NHL affiliate’s team, even if it is preseason. Tonight marks the first NHL game hosted in Des Moines.

Tyler Bozak makes his game debut, Robby Fabbri is back, Klim Kostin is in, and you can hear it all on KMOX 1120 or Sports Radio 98.1 HD3. Somehow, in 2018, it is an impossibility to watch all NHL preseason games online, even through the NHL.tv service, because streaming the jumbotron feed is too difficult.

This is your gameday thread. Enjoy using your mind’s eye to watch the game.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
