Tonight’s preseason game against the Columbus Blue Jackets may be a bigger deal than usual for the Blues: it’s the debut of the new renovations at the Enterprise (nee Scottrade) Center. You have an AB Biergarten, you have earlier door opening times, you have more places to buy Blues gear, and you have your first chance to see new Blues Tyler Bozak, Ryan O’Reilly, and Pat Maroon in game action.
Also, I’ve heard a rumor that all of the escalators work now.
The Blues are 1-1 this pre-season, largely because of Bozak’s two late goals Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild. Tonight could be another win, because along with the three new guys fans will also be seeing Vladimir Tarasenko on the ice.
Here’s hoping that the goaltending duo of Chad Johnson and Jordan Binnington have a better go of it.
Tonight’s line-up, from the Blues’ official website:
Forwards: Ivan Barbashev, Sammy Blais, Tyler Bozak, Dmitrij Jaskin, Jordan Kyrou, Pat Maroon, Jordan Nolan, Ryan O’Reilly, David Perron, Brayden Schenn, Vladimir Tarasenko, Robert Thomas
Defense: Robert Bortuzzo, Jay Bouwmeester, Vince Dunn, Niko Mikkola, Jordan Schmaltz, Jake Walman
Goalie: Chad Johnson, Jordan Binnington
Tonight’s puck drop is at 7:00. You can listen in on KMOX and 98.1 HD3, or if you’re within the Blues’ broadcast area you can view the game on the Blues’ official website.
