The NHL announced the selections for the 2019 NHL All-Star Game last night before the Penguins-Rangers game, and to no one’s surprise the Blues only have one representative. Also to no one’s surprise, that representative is Ryan O’Reilly. O’Reilly was last selected to an All-Star game in 2016 when it was hosted in Nashville. This season, O’Reilly leads the Blues in goals, assists, and points (15-20-35), and has been a force in the face-off circle this season as well.

The NHL has a new format to allow fans to choose a bonus player from each division to fill out the rosters. The Blues’ representative in that voting is, of course, Vladimir Tarasenko (though either Brayden Schenn or David Perron would be a good choice too). Stuff that ballot box at nhl.com/vote.
