So as the internet and social media have confirmed, everyone hates the clown jerseys except for 90s babies who love them.
They’re only wearing them for three games this season, but that’s three times too many for some fans. But! Silver lining alert! Jordan Binnington has a new mask to match.
And it is an awesome tribute to a beloved former Blue.
Binnington asked David Gunnarsson of DaveArt to design another mask for him, one that he spent a lot of time seeing in action as a young fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The familiar rabid dog jaws are back, with the addition of sketches of Curtis Joseph on the sides of the mask.
The Joseph that graces the side of the mask is a little older and more battleworn than the young man who started his career with the St. Louis Blues, but the mask should be instantly identifiable not just for Blues fans, but for fans across the NHL.
Jordan Binnington has always carried a signature swagger. Now he'll have some snarl, too. https://t.co/CetSjSgFtz #stlblues

It’ll be nice to see that familiar gaping maw out on the ice again.
