The Blues can bounce back tonight between a Stars team down a few pieces.

The Dallas Stars didn’t get off to the season start that they wanted to against the Boston Bruins, and that doesn’t just mean that they lost. They’re also down three players: Roman Polak, Blake Comeau, and Jason Dickinson. That doesn’t make them any less dangerous - any team featuring Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn, Corey Perry (who’s older, but also still a noted pain in the ass), and new arrival Joe Pavelski will be a tough nut to crack. Factor in Ben Bishop, and this won’t be the easiest game in the world for the Blues to win.

At this point in the season, fans probably won’t care. Tonight is free replica banner night, Wednesday night got an 8.8 rating in St. Louis, good for the Blues’ highest rated regular-season cable broadcast ever. The Stanley Cup afterglow will take a bit to wear off, but if the Blues want to keep it going, springing back from a disappointing opening night is a good start.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re not scared of the big, bad, Bishop.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
