Blues at Wild GameDay Thread: Jake Allen get the nod

New, comments

It’ll be Allen’s third start this season.

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it - which is why Craig Berube is icing the same lineup that beat the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. Playing a tighter game would help, especially against a team that, truth be told, could really, really use a win tonight.

The Wild weren’t picked by anyone to win the Central, and they were in fact selected to bring up the rear by quite a few pundits, but yeesh. They’re 4-9-1 on the season, but three of those four wins have come at home. They clearly feel comfortable in Xcel, so it’s going to be up to Jake Allen and the Blues to make sure that home cooking never gets to a boil.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re looking forward to gaining that hour of sleep.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
