The Blues’ list of injured forwards is down to just two now: Vladimir Tarasenko and Sammy Blais. Zach Sanford is healthy enough to play but won’t be in tonight; Alexander Steen will finally return after missing 16 games. It appears Steener will be on the third line with Ivan Barbashev and Robert Thomas. It remains to be seen if Steen will have a triumphant return like Oskar Sundqvist did on Thursday night. Sundqvist netted a goal and added an assist in his first game back.
Unfortunately, the IR giveth and the IR taketh away. Carl Gunnarsson has been placed on the IR with an upper body injury, so Robert Bortuzzo will be in his spot tonight.
The Blues broke their three-game losing streak on Thursday night against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Hawks have a three game losing streak of their own going on right now. Let’s see if we can’t make it four.
This is your GameDay thread. Comment like you haven’t even been paying attention to this Taylor Hall stuff.
Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
