Blues at Senators GameDay Thread: Back on track for the Blues

This is a great chance for the Blues to snag two points.

Despite taking five out of six points in California, the Blues are 4-4-2 in their last ten. Their most recent game was an uninspired loss to the Arizona Coyotes. The shots on net were there. The shots capable of going into the net? Currently not present.

This stretch of play has allowed the Dallas Stars (7-3-0 in their last ten) to get within two points of the Blues for third in the Central. What better team for the Blues to play tonight than the Ottawa Senators?

The worst team in the NHL is 1-8-1 in their last ten, canned Guy Boucher a couple weeks ago, and hired Marc Crawford. The only player with name identification outside of the city is Bobby Ryan and he’s -26 on the year. Walt’s son Brady Tkachuk leads the team with 16 goals. Their fans have a billboard campaign against their owner.

Hell, read this whole thread:

Needless to say, there are few easy wins in the NHL. The Blues - even without Joel Edmundson and Vladimir Tarasenko - should have one tonight.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you just want Sens’ fans misery to be over.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
