Lightning at Blues GameDay Thread: Slow the storm

The Blues have a tough task ahead of them in the middle of this homestand.

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Tampa Bay Lightning Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Blues have four home games in this homestand - they’ve taken two of them, against the Oilers and Red Wings, by decisive margins. The next two games, however, are against playoff bound squads. Tonight they see the Tampa Bay Lightning come into town; Monday night the Vegas Golden Knights are here.

If the Blues want to keep pace - or even gain a little ground - in the playoff race, they need to defeat the playoff caliber teams along with the also-rans. The Bolts have already clinched the President’s Trophy, but they’re not taking a break. Tonight’s going to be a challenge. If the Blues are going to succeed in the playoffs, they’re going to have to learn how to beat teams like this. They already did it once in Tampa Bay. They can do it again here.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want another hat trick.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
