Stars at Blues Game Two GameDay Thread: Tarasenko, Binnington set to shine again

Starting out 2-0 would be some nice insurance before the series shifts to Dallas.

It’s pretty clear who the first two stars of game one were - even without being there, I’m sure after reading the box score fans could conclude that they were Vladimir Tarasenko and his two goals and Jordan Binnington, who made 16 saves in the third period alone.

The Blues are going to need both of them to continue that level of play tonight, but they can’t do it alone. An opening goal Thursday from Robby Fabbri got the Blues on the scoreboard first; more focused secondary scoring a la Jaden Schwartz’s games five and six would help ensure the Blues fly to Dallas tomorrow up 2-0.

Overall, the Blues and the Stars were fairly evenly matched up in game one. It’s going to take something special to make a statement in game two.
