Blues at Blackhawks GameDay Thread: Home ice advantage still there for the taking

Maintain. The. Momentum.

NHL: Chicago Blackhawks at St. Louis Blues Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

When I think about the 2018-19 season, the first thing that comes to mind is the St. Louis Blues avoiding the two year playoff drought, and the Chicago Blackhawks failing in that regard.

Tonight, for the final road game of the season, the Blues ride into Chicago with the hopes of keeping pace with the Winnipeg Jets and Nashville Predators, and keep hope alive for a 100 point season.

It’s incredibly odd to think about 100 points when the Blues looked like clueless jackals in January. An incredible run won’t mean much though unless the Blues can keep it going and finish strong. As I stated in the preview this afternoon, the momentum needs to be maintained.

A win tonight puts them at 96 points and back into ownership of second place in the Central.

A Jake Allen start wouldn’t be out of the question, especially with the playoffs locked up and Jordan Binnington needing some rest before the big push.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want 100 points!
