For the second series in a row, the Blues have the chance to clinch at home if they play their cards right. Those cards consist on a win tonight in Dallas, which is more than doable. Despite Ben Bishop’s strong play, the Blues won Monday night’s matchup by a goal in a game that demonstrated that sometimes, defense is optional and always, flopping is a bad idea.
This round can be over in five games, and regardless of who the Blues wind up facing the next round - Stars or Avalanche - they may need the bonus rest. Tightening up defensive awareness and getting some consistent secondary scoring would help, but so would getting some consistent top six scoring.
Basically, that translates as: remember that 11 game win streak> Try playing like that again.
This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want to come home and end this on Friday.
