Sharks at Blues Game Four GameDay Thread

Pete DeBoer doesn’t think his team is lucky.

Pete DeBoer sure is defensive about the comment of luck.

“It irks me when you use words like that,” he responded, ”because this team has played four or five elimination games. Not moments. Games. Twelve to 15 periods of elimination hockey against Vegas, against Colorado in Game 7. So, I think it’s a ridiculous statement.”

You know, Pete, you can just say that you can be good and benefit from the luck of the draw. No one’s saying that because the Sharks are getting some breaks and bounces that they’re not a good hockey team. Maybe using a game that involved a botched five minute major call and another game that used a questionable application of offside to recall an Avalanche game tying goal isn’t a good look, Pete.

Anyway, a team that suffered some bad luck Wednesday were the Blues, and I don’t just mean the hand pass. I mean Vince Dunn getting popped in the face with a puck. He’s day to day, so Carl Gunnarsson is in instead.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you don’t believe in luck unless it’s shitty and against our team.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
