Blues at Bruins: Stanley Cup Final Game Two GameDay Thread

Vince Dunn and Robert Thomas are out, but the Blues still know what they need to fix.

It’s already been mentioned that our fantasy of Vince Dunn returning tonight and saving us from whatever Joel Edmundson was trying to do Monday is dead in the water. We know Robert Thomas is out for reasons that may or may not be Torey Krug related.

We also know that technically tonight isn’t a must win, even though game two winning teams have won the Cup three quarters of the time, historically speaking. I’m sure that the Blues could care less about that stat, since they’re 2-0 in game twos played on the road so far this post-season. Jordan Binnington and the Blues are 5-2 this postseason after a loss, and Binnington has a solid 1.81 GAA in those games.

Last night Tuukka Rask only faced 20 shots, and allowed two goals. Imagine what happens if the Blues are able to fire off more than three shots during the second period?

If there’s one thing this season that the Blues haven’t given a damn about, it’s narratives. Time to write a new one tonight.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re not even worried.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
