Game Highlights:

First Period -

Not even three minutes into the game Jason Spezza scored on a pass from Tyler Seguin. Spezza skated in unchecked and Seguin found him to give the Stars a 1-0 lead.

The Blues outshot the Stars 13-10 in the period.

Second Period -

The man with no first name scored the Stars second goal with a little help from Jay Bouwmeester. Esa Lindell fired a backhanded shot on net. The puck deflected off of Jay Bouwmeester and past Binnington for the two goal lead.

Shots were even at 11 for the period.

Third Period -

The Blues finally got on the board. Ben Bishop turned the puck over. Jaden Schwartz was right there to fire the puck home. Robert Thomas was coming in hot on Bishop forcing him to make a play. He made the wrong one.

Unfortunately, that was the only goal that the Blues scored tonight. Never mind the fact that they had 4 power play chances. Never mind the fact that they peppered Bishop with 39 shots. The Blues were sloppy all night. Plain and simple. They now face elimination on Sunday.

From The Twitters:

Hey, no shit.

From the hope this doesn’t come back to bite you in the ass department:

Yeah so someone tweeted the Blues account...

It’s not? Shit.

Oh.
