Stars at Blues Game Seven GameDay Thread: High glove

Tonight should be all about getting as many shots as possible on Ben Bishop.

Dallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop doesn’t have a broken collarbone, and that’s good. You don’t want to see that sort of injury, especially when it comes at the receiving end of a Colton Parayko slapshot.

But you can’t tell me that Bishop’s left shoulder and collarbone feel hunky dory. There has to be a bruise the size of a dinner plate there, and he’s the starting goaltender. That means that the Blues begin this game, whether Dallas likes it or not, with an advantage over the Stars.

If they can get the rest of their ducks in a row - faceoffs, anyone? - they have the potential to move on to either San Jose or Colorado in the Western Conference Finals. If the Blues of game four or five show up, well... Let’s just say that I hope it’s an exciting third period push.

But right now, the momentum’s on the Blues’ side. It’s their’s to waste, and I don’t think that they will tonight.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you want to hear Gloria one more time.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
