With the final pick in the third round, the St. Louis Blues have selected Colten Ellis from Rimouski of the QMJHL, their second selection from the league today. Ellis should help shore up some depth at goaltending in the future. He netted six shutouts last season and in 51 games finished with a solid 2.35 GAA and a .913 save percentage. He was ranked 8th overall among North American goaltenders by NHL Central Scouting and should be able to help backstop Team Canada next year at the World Juniors.
