The St. Louis Blues are one win away from the Stanley Cup

Soak it in.

NHL: Stanley Cup Final-St. Louis Blues at Boston Bruins Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

If you’re reading this, you may be a little disoriented, confused about what transpired last night in Boston. A team that until this postseason did not have a single Stanley Cup Final win to their name now has three in a series that they were underdogs in.

A series where fans of the opposition crowed about how much tougher their team was than yours, but now they’re upset more about missed calls than their team’s own play in games four and five. The Bruins came out on all cylinders and the Blues and Jordan Binnington shut the door. It wasn’t pretty, but the job got done.

And now the Stanley Cup will be in Enterprise Center Sunday. The Blues are one win away from winning it for the first time in franchise history. That doesn’t mean that you can put the cart before the horse, but it doesn’t mean you should let your conditioning as a Blues fan kick in either.

We’ll have recaps and analysis up later, but for now, just enjoy the possibilities that the Blues’ game five victory brings.
