The past three months have been a whirlwind of celebrations for the Blues and their fans - so much so that the Stanley Cup almost doesn’t seem real. The phrase “Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues” plasters a smile on a person’s face, but it also just sounds surreal. We’ve waited 52 years for this dream to come true. It’s not still just a dream, right?
Nope, it’s as real as it can be. The 2018-2019 St. Louis Blues are engraved on the Stanley Cup.

The boys are understandably excited. I think Colton Parayko’s reaction when he saw the engraving is the best: “Holy shit!”
Holy shit indeed, Colton. We have 64 years of holy shit ahead of us, and, if the Blues win it again in the next 64 years (which I assume will happen since this time took only 52), then at least 64 after that.
I still haven’t had a chance to see Stanley and am insanely jealous of those who have, but the next time I get an opportunity I will be making a beeline for these guys.
It’s real, everyone. It’s etched in silver.
Now it’s time to do it again.
