Blues at Stars Preseason GameDay Thread

Here we go all over again.

You know how a smidge over three months ago, the Blues were busy hoisting the Stanley Cup and drinking bottles of Pappy Van Winkle that you just should not chug.

And tonight? The preseason starts anew and Robert Bortuzzo, Joel Edmundson, Robby Fabbri, Oskar Sundqvist, and Ivan Barbashev are the old men on the ice.

And goaltender Ville Husso? He’s battling for third on the Blues’ depth chart, which is where he was (in theory) last season before being hopped by Jordan Binnington en route to the perfect amalgamation that gave St. Louis it’s first Stanley Cup.

All that’s in the past now. The glorious past. It’s pre-season time, so let’s go on and evaluate some prospects and have fun with no-pressure hockey. All of that is set to change soon enough.

Tune in on ESPN 101 tonight. Put the Cards game on mute. It’s (kind of) game day. Drop the pre-season puck.
