The Blues have rebounded from their road trip with three wins in a row at home, and coach Craig Berube sees no reason to mess with success. Carl Gunnarsson’s just gonna have to wait, and if Colton Parakyo was ready to go tonight, he’s just gonna have to wait too.
“I know I’ve switched a forward here and there, but the defense corps is good right now, looks strong. I’m going to keep that the same,” Berube said after Monday’s practice. “And I thought up front, all four lines contributed in [Saturday’s 5-2 win against the New York Rangers] and did a good job, so I’m going with the same lineup tonight.”
It’s hard to argue with Chief’s logic there. The most we might see is Jake Allen getting a home start to give Binnington a bit of a siesta.
