Blues at Oilers GameDay Thread: Wrap it up

Tonight is the last time that these two teams see each other in the regular season.

The Blues have had a very successful season so far against the Oilers, taking the first two games and outscoring the team with the league’s top two scorers (Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl) by a score of 7-3. Edmonton isn’t a hard team to neutralize, but the Blues have managed to minimize the damage.

Tonight, Jake Allen is back in net to keep the damage low. The first person to say the words “goalie controversy” unironically is getting a boot up their ass. Binnington hasn’t been tack-sharp, but when you have a 1A-1B tandem, as this one was intended to be, sometimes this stuff works to the team’s advantage. As long as Allen doesn’t hit his February slump, everything should be fine.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you miss home games.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
