Thanksgiving is a special holiday, filled with food, football, friends, and family. That’s basically the five Ds of dodgeball right there in a normal year.
This year may not be normal for all of us. We may have to work today, we may be limiting who we see for dinner, we may be having dinner alone. We may be missing someone. Thankfully, we’re all part of a family of Blues fans who, despite our disagreements (see: Facebook comments on the recent Jordan Binnington article) share a very special bond over our favorite hockey team. Go find your favorite Blues fans on Twitter and give them a holiday shout out. Send them a virtual turkey leg.
Here at St. Louis Game Time, we are all so thankful for you, our readers, who are here regardless of what the year brings. This has been a weird, on-again, off-again year of hockey that didn’t work out the best for the Blues, but it doesn’t mean we can’t be thankful for what we have. It’s incredible that a year that began with the All-Star Game being hosted in St. Louis is winding down with a CBA squabble, but that’s 2020 for you.
So thank you for visiting the site, through All-Star Games and round-robin busts; through Alex Pietrangelo rumors and Torey Krug signings. 2020 may almost be over, thank goodness - but we would be so thankful if you would join us when the new season starts, whenever that might be.
