Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington’s masks haven’t been anything flashy in previous seasons - it wouldn’t fit with his persona of being the calm, cool, and collected goaltender. The most radical his design has gotten in the past was his excellent homage to Curtis Joseph for the 90s retro jersey revival:

Blues fans will have to wait to see what’s up Binnington’s sleeve for the Reverse Retro jerseys that have fans so divided. As far as his regular season lid, though, Binnington stuck with a simple and clean design from the always excellent DAVEART.com:

Eagle-eyed fans will notice the 90’s alternate logo is well represented on the mask through the gold trumpets hidden behind the Blue Notes. Binnington decided to go with a white background again to let the colors in the mask pop and stand on their own, while being a compliment to the Blues’ road jerseys.
Goalie equipment reveals are like the groundhog of the off-season: once the new helmets and pads come out to play, you know that the season is right around the corner.
