Marco Scandella, as are most people who go from non-playoff team to non-playoff team to (as of now) the Western Conference leader, is a happy camper.
Blues fans can be forgiven for being less than happy at the circumstances that brought him to St. Louis for a few reasons, but he’ll be getting a huge chance to make an impact tonight. Why?
He’s playing next to Colton Parayko.
“I know what I have to do to be successful,” Scandella said. “Just play a really good defensive game, help on the (penalty kill), do whatever I’m asked to do here and just do it with a smile on my face. I’m happy to be here, back in the Central and playing for the St. Louis Blues.”
Sounds good.
