Blues at Wild GameDay Thread: The Blues’ shutdown defense is back

Can the Blues limit the wild to 20 SOG again?

NHL: St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Three games in a row. One goal allowed. Twenty or fewer shots on goal in each game. Two shutouts. Near-perfect defense.

February’s not even over yet, and the Blues have blown out of those doldrums. Tyler Bozak will miss another game tonight but Alex Pietrangelo is back in, so the team is at nearly full strength for the evening.

The Blues lead the Avalanche by just a point, and the Stars by two. A win tonight against the Wild is not only a possibility, it should be a necessity. It’s a national NBCSN broadcast, so hold onto your hats.

This is your GameDay Thread. Comment like you’re ready to see another win.

Let’s do this.

Let’s Go Blues.
