Vote in SB Nation NHL FanPulse’s Goal Song Bracket

“Chelsea Dagger” needs to go down.

Obviously, there aren’t a lot of current NHL questions that can be asked right now (you can only phrase “do you think hockey will come back” so many times). Right now, SB Nation’s NHL FanPulse is nevertheless asking fans a very important question: who has the best goal song?

If you haven’t signed up for FanPulse yet, you can do so right here.

I, for one, never noticed how many teams have switched to the NHL Whatever Year It Is Be a Pro style “individual goal song” choices.

For whatever reason, “Chelsea Dagger” has a bye this week so sorry that you can’t vote against the most obnoxious goal song in the free world. “When The Blues Go Marching In” is pretty unfairly pitted against the Canucks’ use of Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” which if this was a “best use of apostrophes” bracket, that song would have this thing won.

It’s tough to challenge Van Halen, but at least the Blues have some history behind their goal song.

After all, it’s the only one in this bracket featured in NHL ‘94.
