The Blues were down in their series against the Dallas Stars last season 3-2 before coming back to win in game seven’s overtime. They’ve been behind the 8 Ball before. Old hat.
Last year.
It took them rattling Ben Bishop’s cage with a Colton Parayko slapshot to get back into that game. This year they’re going to have to find a new approach. Continuing their strong five on five play is certainly going to be part of it. Getting up to a two goal lead? Absolutely. Maintaining said lead and not taking their foot off of the gas? Absolutely.
Anything less than a full 60 minutes of play tonight, and last season’s Stanley Cup champions will join the 2017 and 2018 Cup champions outside of the bubble looking in. Even with a five month hiatus, it’s a long season.
The Canucks are beatable. The Blues have already done it twice. They can do it two more times.

Let’s do this. Let’s Go Blues.
