If the Blues pull out a win, should someone do a wellness check?

The seeding at this point might just be moot. The prize for finishing as the third seed? A matchup against the Calgary Flames, who the Blues went 3-0-0 against during the regular season, but who still play a rough and physical game that could match the Blues hit for hit. Fourth place nets the Blues a chance to play the Vancouver Canucks, who the Blues went 1-1-1 against during the regular season and who would provide as much of a challenge as the Flames.
The Blues need to play for confidence today more than playing for seeding. The exhibition loss to the Blackhawks could be chalked up to getting back into the swing of things. The loss to Colorado was a last-second heartbreaker that featured excellent goaltending, but an anemic offense. The loss to Vegas showcased some scoring, but also left fans scratching their heads at a defense that didn’t bother to show.
The Blues should be consistent today, and if they are, they won’t have any issues against a Stars team that has looked flat in every game of the round-robin.
